After almost a gap of 21 years, acclaimed producer Allu Aravindh is back in Tamil to produce a movie. His last venture was the blockbuster movie Mappillai that featured Rajnikanth and Amala. Allu Aravindh is back with a bang with Maaveeran, that stars Ram Charan Theja and Kajal Agarwal. It is a big-budgeted movie made using state-of-the-art technology.
The movie is directed by S S Rajamouli of Mariyadhai Ramana, Yamadhonga, Vikramarkodu and Chatrapathy fame. Made as Magadheera in Telugu, it released with over 450 prints across the globe in over 1200 screens and garnered massive collection. It was declared a huge box office hit.
Chiranjeevi, a popular name in not just Andhra Pradesh but also Tamilnadu is all thrilled to introduce his son Ram Charan Theja in Tamil. Hence he has chosen to make few changes in the film to suit Tamil audience and release the movie in a grand manner. Chiranjeevi had made a name for himself in Tamil cinema doing films like K Balachander's 47 Naatkal, Ranuva Veeran and Mappillai.
The movie also stars Sri Hari, Dev Gil, Sarath Babu and Brhamanandham among them. Chiranjeevi, Kim Sharma and Mumaith Khan make special appearence.
Scenes involing the lead pair were shot in Chennai, Pollachi, Vizag and adjoining areas.
A costly song featuring Ram Charan , Chiranjeevi and Mumaith Khan was shot at Chennai Harbour with over 500 dancers. The song has been penned by Vaali and sung byRanjith and Janaki. The songs would be released by Sony Music.
Story is written by Vijayendra Prasad has written then story, dialogues by director K Bhagiyaraj Valee and Jayaram have written songs , cinematography by Senthilkumar and music by Maragathamani. Choreography is handled by Sivashankar , Baba Baskar and Noble Premrakshith ve choreographed.
Venkateswara Kotagiri handles editing, art by E Raveendran and publicity by one and only Nikil Murugan.
Rajamouli is the director of Maveeran, he has also written the screenplay.
Maaveran would be released in Tamil by Udhayanidhi Stalin's Red Giant Movies.
